Big Tech must do more to protect against child sexual abuse. The EU Commission has proposed new laws to help – but the debate is just beginning.

"BIG TECH NEEDS TO DO MORE TO PROTECT CHILDREN"

Since June 2022, we have been asking Europeans to share this message online. Thousands have joined us.

New EU legislation has just been proposed to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation. This should mean the tech sector finally takes responsibility and uses the tools at their disposal to combat child exploitation.

For laws to pass, we know they need public support. That's why we have asked people across Europe – from parents and caregivers, to campaign groups and lawmakers – to share their support for change, with #ChildSafetyOnlineNow.

We need you to join us in this show of support. Help us shape the public debate in support of the new law, to provide the law with the best chance of passing.
